People search for “blank map of …” for every place on Earth: a continent for a geography test, a country for a school project, a state for a sales territory. Most sites answer with a fixed, low-resolution picture. We wanted something better.
Real maps, generated from data
Every map here is drawn from geographic data. Each country is a separate shape, lines are true vectors, and small island nations get dots so they never disappear. That means you can choose the style, recolor anything and download a file that stays sharp at any size, from a phone screen to a wall poster.
What is available
- A blank world map in Equal Earth, Robinson and Mercator projections.
- Blank maps of all seven continents.
- 168 country maps, each with its states, provinces or regions.
- Outline, borders, labeled and numbered styles, plus click-to-color.
- Downloads as SVG, PNG, JPG, WebP and print-ready PDF.
What is next
More countries are added in batches, followed by maps of individual states, provinces and regions. Until a country has its own map, search for it to see it highlighted on its continent map.
Data and borders
Boundaries come from Natural Earth, a public-domain dataset maintained by cartographers. By default we show de facto (on-the-ground) boundaries. Where it matters, you can switch to India’s official boundaries, and the Russia map shows Crimea as part of Ukraine by default, with a de facto view. Showing a boundary does not mean we endorse it.
